Creep

Creep
The leaves they are falling down, the sky’s turning grey
And I am still stuck here in this fuckin’ job that I hate
The seasons keep changing, babe, my friends they faded away
The years keep on rolling by, but somehow they all look the same
I’m afraid to say, it’s getting worse everyday, the worries won’t let me sleep
Guess I’m a hopeless creep.
Now I’m searching through photographs, missing the good times I’ve had
Time keeps moving by, but I ain’t got nothing solid in my hands
Sometimes I drink myself to sleep, and sometimes I could cry for hours
But I don’t want your pity or your sympathy, it’s just the way my heart does

Ashes
I will break your heart. I will turn away as the ashes of your hopes and dreams turn to
Mud and snow and sweat and blood and sleet.
There’s a special hell for hearts like ours and to see it we won’t have to die
Because it’s there for us to see in the morning when we open our eyes.
There’s ten strings there, four are made of mercy and faith and iron,
What remains is the worst of what a man can hold, please Today, don’t leave me,
What remains is the crumbs of a heart turned cold, please Today don’t leave me alone.
(please, Lord, send me someone to love)

Lie Down, Evil

Lie Down, Evil
There ain’t blues enough in this world, for to make things feel alright
There’s just an old graveyard of Hope, that we can sneak into tonight.
We’ll dig up the coffins and the catacombs and let the ashes in the urns there lie
Exhume that dire carcass of Hope and clean the worms out of her eyes.
Yes, we will.
Because if Hope can see the blue sky, then maybe Winter can see the Fall.
She can look back over her shoulder and say, ‘I’m sorry that it got so cold,’
‘I’ve been stuck in a mess for a while now, and my heart is in a troubled way,’
‘there’s a sickness that lives in my lover’s heart and it’s turning all the good to hate.’
‘You see, an empire has poisoned the water and it will use up everything it can,’
‘The palace it rules from is built with the bones of intelligent and gifted men.’
But it will burn and it will fall, and that Evil can take it’s rest
It can shut its precious little eyes and just fall right into bed.
It will dream and it will suffer and it will wake up all alone
With the covers bunched up all around its neck on a mattress made of bones.
Yes, it will

SIEGEL
I ain’t got time for your bullshit, ain’t got time for your lies.
Ain’t a billion angry people? Ain’t they waitin’ right outside of that palace that you call Democracy?
Ain’t the starving and fighting and crying?
No gods. No masters. No quarter will be given to the shit eating bastards.
There’s 200,000 of them and 7,000,000,000 of us. And one day the game will change and the system they built from our blood and our sweat will all go up in flames.
“…there are ways out, there is light somewhere.”
-Charles Bukowski
